When do Online Slots Tournaments take place?

Schedules are posted and kept up to date in the tournaments section of the download casino software.

Explain “My Tournaments”?

This tool shows you a list of the tournaments that you have joined and played and allows you to review your results.

How big are the prize pools in Online Slots Tournaments?

Players can either win a guaranteed amount or a percentage of the pot prize. Before the tournament commences, the prize and payout pattern are announced.

How do I join an Online Slots Tournament?

It’s simple, login to your downloaded casino software and double click on the tournament name or click on the ‘Join’ button. If a buy in or fee value applies, it will automatically be deducted from your balance. Also, each time you register for a tourney, it gets added to your ‘My Tournaments’ page.

Will I know when an Online Slots Tournament is about to start if I have registered?

One minute before the start of a tournament, you’ll receive a pop-up message to notify you – but only if you are in your casino software. Clicking on the ‘OK’ button will display the countdown screen. Should you ignore the pop-up screen, you can still join until the end of the first round. Thereafter your entry is forfeited.

Explain the “coin balance”?

At the beginning of a tournament you’ll be awarded starting coins. All wagers made during the play of the tournament are subtracted from this coin balance. Your wins will not be added to the coin balance and your coin balance only decreases during tournament play. Your game play is over when this balance is zero or when you cannot make the minimum bet.

Explain the “win box balance”?

When a tournament starts, the win box balance is zero. Wins awarded throughout the play will be added. The balance therefore increases during the tournament play. The winner of an Online Slots Tournament is determined by his/her value in the win box balance at the end of a game – the player with the largest balance wins.

Explain a “Scheduled” Tournament?

A Scheduled Tournament always starts at a fixed time. The entry fee includes your credits to play, rounds last between 5 & 15 minutes or until your credits are finished. You can choose to stop your play or continue in which case a ‘Continue Play’ entry fee might be required. The Continue Play rounds are usually shorter and limited.

Explain a “Sit ‘n’ Go” Tournament?

A Sit ‘n’ Go Tournament will begin when all players for the tournament have registered. A minimum amount of players is required, so you might have to wait a few minutes for it to begin. The final results are announced straight after the tournament ends.

What happens if I disconnect from an Online Slots Tournament?

Should you be able to re-connect within the tournament time, you can continue playing. Otherwise, the winnings total will remain static and reflect the amount you had at the time of disconnection.

The following rules apply if you are disconnected during tournament play:

  1. Should you become disconnected during play, the slot will not spin on your behalf.
  2. . Should you re-connect within the tournament time, you can continue playing in the tournament.
  3. If re-connection isn’t possible, the winning total will remain static, reflecting the amount at the time of disconnection.

Explain what Game Statistics are?

This feature allows you to view information about your current game session – the number of spins you’ve played and the highest three win amounts you’ve achieved.

If you click on the ‘Statistics’ button the following information is displayed:

General tab

Spin Results Section: This will display the number of spins played during your current game session, the duration of your game session, and the average number of spins you’ve played per hour.

Highest Wins Section: This will display the highest three win amounts during your current game session.

The ‘OK’ button closes the Statistics dialog box and the ‘Reset’ button resets the game statistics to zero.

Please note that the statistics only apply to your current game session. Once you exit the game, the statistics will automatically reset to zero.
